I have been thinking about budget cut...Great post. I have been thinking about budget cuts for a different reason (gift to very elderly relatives) and once again realize how well we live. I remember reading somewhere how you can count your spendings in the hours you have to work for it. Like would this shirt be worth me working that many hours, etc? And SS people. <br />We have figured we can live on our savings for about 11 years. Hoping SS and government pensions continue. we did almost all the sam...good post but sobering <br /><br />we did almost all the same cost cutting things as you when I quit my job 3 1/2 years ago.
