Window Treatment Marathon

DD#1's pile of window treatment fabric before
And after, Media room, Breakfast room, and Office are complete. Still on the list is Kitchen window and slip covers for media room throw pillows. I will be glad to have this chore off my to do list.

Finally finished this book last night. I love to finish the day with a good book but have a heck of a time staying awake long enough to get very far. I really enjoyed Nancy's book about her life as a child and building her family business.
Tonight AJ the beagle and I have a nest of patterns, magazines, binders and all that jazz we are organizing. I need more to get the binders back in order to figure out additional ways to use up the scraps and stash. Sew many beautiful patterns it's hard to pick just one!!

The house is upside down tonight after all the sewing for DD#1 today but...I just don't care enough to get it cleaned up. Tomorrow is another day, no doubt it will all be sitting waiting for me in the morning.

The rest of the weekend is being devoted to getting reorganized. I have way too many ongoing projects. Little piles here and there, big piles scattered around all over the kitchen, laundry room, and sewing room. I need to get a grip!!

  3. Window treatment marathon – this might be interesting, though there are people who find it tedious. For some, they spend most of their time shopping for their window treatment. But you’re different because you’re making your own. If you think about it, doing it yourself gives you a good advantage, since fabric is much cheaper and you’re able to choose your own design. Sweet, right? How’s the result, btw?

  4. How was installing window treatments, Debby? Seems like you did a lot of work before getting started. My windows are a bit plain at the moment and I've been trying to find a way to brighten them up. Seeing your post makes me want to treat my windows as well. I think I'm gonna get started tonight. Great post! Thanks for sharing! :)
