New Adventure

So as Sherry and I were wondering around the vendor fair last weekend we stumbled across a Close To My Heart booth, the products they have are perfect for beginner scrapbooking, fast, easy, great price and no need to invest in tons of tools.
So I decided to give it at try, I always have lots of new ladies to scrapbooking in class and this should be a great way for them to get their feet wet.
I don't plan on doing home parties only scrapbooking clubs to help them learn the basics.

All-Star Race

Had a good time tailgating even if we got a little rain, the weather cleared up and the fun continued.

Tyler of course loved playing in the rain and being the center of attention most of the day. We took him shopping at one of the vender tents, he loves red so he had to get the 9 car and we couldn't leave without Jr.'s car, they kept him entertained all day "smaching and crashing"

I guess my battery finally ran out today, I was hardly able to get out of the house this morning and struggled to stay awake all day, finally got home at 6:30PM and took a nap until 10:00PM, only got up to catch the end of the race and get a bottle of water before I am headed to bed for good!

Bob and David are both headed out in the morning so I am going to spend the day laying low, need to get my energy back!

Engagement Party

The kids had a great time at the Engagement party last night, lots of food, drinks and wonderful gifts from family and friends.

Thanks to all of you who were able to make it and for so many gifts that came in the mail!!

We are off to the tailgating party and then to the All-Star race, I am skipping the race this year 70% chance of rain, not my idea of a good time.

Had a busy day preparing for the Engagement party and race next week, hope to have the house cleaned and groceries in by that time!! If not we will just have to wing it.

Yard work

Spent National Scrapbook weekend Painting, cleaning and doing yard work, YUK!!

The kids helped me finish putting together the new deck furniture, we needed more outdoor eating space so this should do the trick.

Bob you are off the hook for a Mother's Day gift, the new table and chairs will do the trick, thanks honey, your to good to me!!
