Happenings at Home

The old PC is now at Goodwill
The clean out of the old desktop cabinet has begun. I have hopes this will hold some easy to get to scrapbooking supplies.
This corner of my kitchen counter seems to be the dumping ground for all things paper related. grrr
I bought this organizer on clearance way back when at Hobby Lobby. Hubby hung it for me today, no more paper on the kitchen counter (I hope)
Another makes me crazy paper place are notes I tape to the front door so I can remember who borrowed what. The big and little kiddo's seem to always be walking out the door with something but forget to return it :)
Hubby's second hanging project was to get this cute chalk board cabinet door hung for me next to the front door. No more tacky notes on the front door

I am in a Project Life scrapbook challenge with a GF this week. We have to do two layouts each day. It feels so good to finally get Kara's coming home photo's in an album :)
Also her birth photo's. Quick and easy.

My Man has been knocking out Honey Do's like there is no tomorrow. Granted they are little projects to him but BIG to me :) A girl could get use to having an extra pair of hands around! While he is working away at his list today I hope to finish up my scrapbook paper clean out, I'm oh so close to finishing.

The man also has to attend a meeting today for a few hours leaving me with some free time to get my scrapbook challenge pages done. Now that the running around with my sister all over the country is done I need to get back to some sort of normal, whatever that is :) I figure this first month of him home 24/7 we will both be out of our element. I am thinking it might be a small sample of what retirement life together might be like.

I hear the shower starting up....that's my signal our day has begun. Sharing a bathroom is one of the many things we are getting use to :)
