Jingle Bells in the Spring

Spring is in the air but I am working on a Christmas gift today
Using "Odds and End's" Charm pack by Moda.
And more "Odds and Ends" yardage.

There really is nothing better than sitting at the sewing machine all day with the windows wide open to let the fresh air and pollen in. I finished piecing the 2nd baby boy quit this morning but wasn't in the mood to crawl around on the floor doing the pin basting. Sew...I moved on to a Christmas gift I have on my "To Do" list for April. I am in LOVE with this cute girly fabric, it's been killing me having to wait for the time to play around with it!!! The waiting is over! I should be able to finish the gift tonight as I once again don't have to worry about supper. Next best thing next to sewing in the spring is having "To Go" meals in the freezer. Ha

DD#3 ended up not having to go the Dr. today, sew I didn't have wild child Kara. Lots more time for sewing. This morning I made a quick trip to the fabric store to purchase the border fabric to finish the "Won't You be my Neighbor" quilt. It was hard to pass up on the new fabrics they had in but I MUST watch the spending this month if I want to get that hospital bill off the desk and in the mail! You can bet I have my wish list ready for the day I can blow some cash! Cute, cute, cute "Bug" fabric for little boys that would be sew cute for the grand boys a picnic quilt. I have picnic fabric put back for the little girls I purchased a year, maybe 2 years ago. Can't give the girls a quilt unless I make one for the boys now can I???

OK. enough of all this sewing talk, I need to get back to that machine before the sun goes down. Tomorrow I should have 2 finishes if the stars all line up just right.
