Friday Finals

Chain piecing the tissue holders made the process go much faster.
I had the 30 needed for the nursing home and a few extra done in no time. I think the ladies are really going to enjoy these. Tyler gave them to his Teachers this week along with a mug rug, they were a home run!!
Tyler is all about super hero's this year. He will be the Hulk for Halloween. Since I couldn't find Hulk fabric I went with what I think is Captain America or some such thing for his Trick or Treat bag.
I put the patch on too low for Tyler's bag but he was still happy with it.
I tried to make the little girls bags something a bit more girlie but still Halloween themed.
Personally I like the lining on the little girls the best. How can you go wrong with a wiener dog? Karsyn was over the moon when she received her trick or treat bag. She grabbed it up with a "Mine" then proceeded to load it up with toys. Karsyn thinks all bags are purses, she is her Mama's girl

I got my To Do's all done, yepeee After dinner tonight I made a new infinity scarf for the little girls. The one I had originally made was to bulky for them. Sure hope this one will work better, if not I give up (maybe).

I found the pattern/tutorial for the Trick or Treat bags at Suzanne's blog. Check out her blog, she is one talented lady and has so many cute things to share. Thank you Suzanne for a great bag that our grands will love for years to come. I only made one change to the treat bag in that I embroidered each grands initial on their bags, however I thought the original candy corn on the front of her bags were super cute. I try to use my embroidery machine as much as possible to justify the expense!! Ha

Early to bed tonight as we have a T-Ball game tomorrow followed by a trip to the pumpkin patch/hayride with the grands. It should be a wild time, hubby and I will be ready to hit the recliners for some Saturday night football after all that merry making. The weather man is calling for beautiful fall weather, hope he doesn't let us down.

Thanks to all of you for the sweet comments regarding the completed quilts and everything else. I want you to know your comments mean sew much to me, I feel like I have my girlfriends close at hand cheering me on as you blogger ladies always do!!! Someday maybe I can figure out how to make reply's to your comments, they really are special to me!!

    1. Yes I am making the infinity scarfs, I got the tutorial from mamaandbabylove.com. Since I am using minky fabric I had to change the width a little to cut down on the bulk

  5. These are awesome! I love Halloween and fall fabrics too. my older kid wanted to be a Transformer or Spiderman until this week. And now he wants to be a Power Ranger. Good thing we didn't buy a costume yet! I just found a nice used Power ranger costume yesterday for just $10! So happy!
